Yesterday morning I was drinking a bottle of rum by the sea and a woman in a white BMW drove up by me. She wound down the window and asked me I wanted to get inside to get warmer. I said yes.

When I got in she started driving randomly around the place. She told me she was a special needs teacher for kids with Autism. I never mentioned my diagnosis. She said she liked drinking too.

She found me funny and drove me around for an hour then dropped me off at my doctor's appointment. I gave her my email address and she emailed me but I emailed her back and she hasn't answerd me in 24 hours.

It's not that I liked her that much, I just feel sad that people don't think I'm worth knowing.

I saw my doctor on Friday and I told her I felt like killing myself and she threatened to get me sent to the hospital so I told her I was just exaggerating. And she let it go eventually. She gave me double my usual medication but I lost it today while I was out around town and I don't know where it went.

In any case I don't feel NTs value me much. I think if an NT had been through what I have they would have got a lot more sympathy and understanding.

Well, no random woman ever offered me a ride in a BMW, you may have a blessing that most guys don't ....

What did you write in that email?

Hey, that's not so bad. (A) she answered and (B) she asked a leading question! She's prompting more conversation.

You are a cutie, Fifasy, and from everything you post here, you have a good heart to go along with your noticeable good looks. I hope some good things happen for you - genuinely good things - and soon.

Hugs

Esme

Try wearing a wig then. I had mine on. It makes me look like a wild bohemian.

It was either that or just good luck.

Being worthless is the default state. Anything else has to be earned.

She likes drinking, you could ask if she wants a drink. Shame you've missed the weekend.

Look at your logic here. She emailed you and gave you her phone number. You emailed her back and she didn't answer within 24 hours - this means she doesn't think you're worth knowing. That's a totally erroneous conclusion!

Call her office and explain what happened. People with depression and autistic people sometimes lose things. No big deal. It WOULD be a big deal if you don't get this medication replaced and take as directed. So do that.

I agree with others in this thread, you are a likeable, cute guy - someone I'd enjoy knowing.

Sending you virtual hugs from an old grannie - Bea
