Probably because its mid winter.

I haven't been well for months. J thought I was getting better, but I'm ill in bed again. The Dr says it's just a bad virus and I need to rest.

I met 2 nice men in the past year who seemed to be interested in me, but neither went anywhere. Just the same old same old. It really crushes your self esteem.

I'm hungry, but I haven't got the appetite to eat anything.

being ill (khe khe khe) sucks, any time. no wonder u are getting thin, when ur body is too busy to fight off the virus, to also support ur mood. it will get better.

I'm sorry you feel down, hurtloam. I don't like mid-winter weather either.

I wish I was getting thin lol. I had such a bad sore throat last month I was constantly eating to soothe it. Now my clothes are too tight.

That's kind getting me down too. I have never been this fat :(

Ha no. I take things literally. I really did think you might think I'm not eating enough in general.

If I'm not eating I am really ill or really depressed. I love food.

Found a pie in my freezer to have for dinner. It was yummy.

Ahh... the December Solstice ... the Saturnalia tree needs decorating.

Does the Solstice mark the beginning or the middle of winter where you live?

Middle of winter. I'm in the UK. Although, it does always seem colder in Jan and Feb and more likely to snow in Feb than Dec, so maybe it really is the beginning of winter.

Beginning of winter here in the States. Frightfully cold for some, not so bad for their next-door neighbors.

huge comfort eater myself, and thus, literally xD but ya, "thin" is one of habitual euphemisms im using for vulnerable emotional state. sorry, i should understand it might be misunderstood xd (also ya, intentional "misunderstanding" is one of ways jokes are made, so i considered that possibility). hope u are feeling better at least a bit)

The medication Im taking makes me look 5 months pregnant. Since my mom said she would stop talking to me if I stop taking it and my psychiatrist doesnt want me to stop it looks like I wont be stopping anytime soon. If you got bigger from eating to much you could just cut back on food a bit and in a few months the weight will come off. Nothing I do makes me lose weight except cutting back my medication.

It is very cold here in eastern Canada. Its been -5 these last few days. It makes me not want to go out. Its only going to get colder too.
