No thank you. I have been working very hard for several years now to drag myself out of what was a very crappy part of my life. I have no wish to go back there.

No, thank you. After all these countless years of homelessness and drug abuse, I finally have a place to live and I'm free of all those bad things.

And I NEVER thought I'd get here!

I’m not wishing people a crappy new year. Neither is saying happy new year wishing a happy year.

I’m not happy about a new year so I won’t lie and say happy New Years.

So no one else is allowed to be happy because you're not?

I feel no one listens to me
I’m saying I’m having a crappy new year, not wishing a crappy new year on others,

So then what did you hope to achieve by making this post? Your discontentment is pretty well already noted by everyone here.

Same reason everyone makes a Haven thread, to vent.
This year was worse then others, I spent it alone in my room, family didn’t even watch the ball drop together.

I’ll be 31 next month too:(

I’m sure there’s some New Years thread where everyone’s happy and celebrating this is for me and others who are sad on New Years, we have a right to our feelings too.

Well what does "crappy new year to all" mean then, if not that?

I'm sorry you're not having a good time, but try not to predict the future because you never know what may happen.
Red robin may have thought he'd never get a place to live, for example, now he does.
2019 may be your year.
The year of the fox.

I’m not having a happy new year so I’m twisting the normal saying.
When people say happy new year they aren’t wishing others a happy New Years they saying they having a happy New Years.
Or d you think someone saying happy Tuesday is wishing you a happy Tuesday or saying good morning is hoping you have a good morning. They expressing their own emotions.
Why do you follow me around twisting my posts
I didn’t say to all.
I said all like saying yayh.

It’s year of the pig, there’s no year of fox. I don’t think foxes mean anything to Chinese, Japanese see them as sacred. They even have their own village, fox village.
Nothing happen last year or year before or year before besides get worse.
3 years ago I had a car. Now I don’t. I don’t have a real job, I haven’t had a relationship and now it’s too late to ever have one, I can’t do all but one of my hobbies or interests.
I have no friends anymore. I think I’m dying, might be for the best though.
so on top of all that I’m also afraid and worried.

Well, yes.
I did think that.
That they were wishing me happy.
Didn’t think they were wishing themselves happy.
You’re very confusing.

They’re expressing their joy for the new year.
People say happy New Years alone in their house too, who are they wishing it on?

Saying “have a happy New Years” is what you are thinking of.

Ok.
This raises a whole heap of other questions but I’ll shut up now because I can tell you’ve had enough of me.

I’ve told you what I meant. That’s all there is too it.
I wasn’t wishing anyone anything. I’m just expressing my discontent to another year and another holiday meant for couples and happy people.

To me it’s same as calling Valentine’s Day singles day.

Um! No Sly

Quote:
Phrase

happy New Year

A wish said at and before the start of a new year to wish someone well for New Year (the holiday) or for the (entire) new year.

Change the title - end the confusion
