Thanks! :) I took like hundreds of pictures and picked out the best ones to keep. 8)

I think a butterfly kind of symbolizes death and resurrection. The caterpillar is like a living being, the immobile cocoon is like a dead person, and the beautiful butterfly that emerges from the cocoon is like a soul emerging from a mortal shell as it flies away towards the heavens.

That may not be how death actually works but it sounds beautiful doesn't it? :flower:

Actually I read somewhere that other cultures view butterflies that way too so that's why I think of them like that. :)

okay) to me its more about, that to transcend, a person has to melt and reform (so cocoon). maybe less... spiritual^^
