February and already over this year
I'm already burnt out by this year. I have run out of spoons to communicate but I feel like burrowing into a hole. My daughter has started at a new school which has been mostly good, but today and yesterday her routine fell apart and we're back to horrible meltdowns from her.
Parenthood when you're autistic feels impossible sometimes. I feel so defeated.

yes, parenting is a special nightmare. tho, my daughter is a toddler. allistic toddler. keeps overloading me on a daily basis and cant get the "let mommy sit in silence a bit". bc toddler. the feeling of being defeated will subside. give urself some time to gather it. its just a spike, it will pass. world ends every week, sometimes every day, and then there is the next dawn. take a hot bath, or at least shower. then lie down and do some breath exercise. if ur child is school age, they can allow u time to do that, give them a puzzle, that would keep them busy while u relax. tbh, i never had a steady routine myself, just bits and pieces, gotta do with what i get. here, have a track)

Sorry to hear that. How old is your daughter?

Just remember it is not your fault nor your daughter's fault that she has meltdowns.
