People often have a romanticized vision of the "freedom" of homelessness. In reality, being homeless means you have LESS freedom. And you're in constant danger from people who want to do ill to others. Criminals (whether homeless or not).
It's a hard life. If you want to pee, there's no bathroom for you. If you want to poo, there's no bathroom for you. You're forced to go in the street; that, alone, gets you a summons.
Then, if you sleep anywhere, the cops will rouse you up and tell you to "move on." It's hard for a homeless to get a good night's (or a good day's) sleep.
Not to mention, as a woman if you still menstruate, there's a very real problem with homeless women and the ability to obtain hygiene products and to keep themselves reasonably clean.
Look... it's not a good idea. It's much better if you find some way to find even a job that is outside of your field of study and rent a small apartment or a studio, or even have a roommate that you never see, but for god's sake DON'T go live out in the street thinking it's going to be easier because it's not.
