YMMV, but strattera worked for me. the blue fog was replaced with utter calm clarity for once in my life. it enabled the other things to sink in better, such as recalling that a notably melancholy man named abe lincoln, said "a man's about as happy as he makes up his mind to be." IOW, don't dwell on the bad feelings, treat them as mental weeds and starve them of the nutrition of attention. but there are still times the crappy feelings seep in despite all the roadblocks, and at those times i recall the words of joan baez who said, "the antidote to despair is action."
