I think I’ll have to quit my job.
I tried to get moved to wharehouse as I’m technically wharehouse. Thursday he seemed to like ideal well today he said he doesn’t think I could do it and asked if I thought I could and I said i dont know as i dont know what doing it intells so how could I know.
He also stated he doesn’t think I do a good job as is with the rf gun but I’ve never been trained in it. All I know to to is check prices with it which it’s horrible to do with compared to an iPod.
I can’t keep working as I it’s bad for my mental health.
I’ve messaged seeing if I could keep doing what I’m doing only on days ammo comes in so I’d have stuff to keep busy doing if that is rejected I’ll buy a gun with my discount and quit after it comes on.

Yeah I’m on disability so I’ll be fine just have lot less spending money. I’ll uave to get back on food stamps so might be tough for while.
This job is making me super anxious every day and more anti social, cause I get in trouble if I ever talk to other coworkers. I feel like quitting just about every day and some days make me super depressed.
Point of a job was to get me out and socializing mostly. I like the extra money but i dont know how much longer I can handle having nothing to do and then getting in trouble over it. Doesn’t seem I’ll be able to transfer anywhere as they think I’m horrible cause the few times they see me not working and ignoring the hours and hours I worked my butt off for them.
Other people who are nt have quit for same reason, the management doesn’t ever a knowledge our hard work just our faults.
It makes my anxiety worse
They get on me even when I’m working.
Now they mad I’m not good with stuff while they have me zero training for this made up position.
Apparently I’m wharehouse but I’m not wharehouse so they can’t just put me back there which I don’t buy. I’m coded wharehouse and already have the hours so as far as corp knows I’m working back there already. I don’t get why there’s have to be an open wharehouse position.
I wish they’d let me go months ago if I quit I won’t get unemployment:(
Thanks for your reply I’m really freaked out
I went in today thinking they’d move me and my problems would be gone and I could keep working.
Basically most the leads are high school bullies who are just power hungry and abusive.

Keep in mind that a lot of work helps people keep themselves sane, depression really hits you HARD when you are not moving and have too much time on your hands, so consider this very carefully as your job might be helping you 'keep on the move', becareful that the other side isn't worse, because it could very well be.
So there's my warning to you, in the other thread, you seem adamant about not working out, now you see here there is a recipe for disaster if you quit your job and sit home all day doing nothing. That will make your mental state MUCH WORSE. There might be issues at work, but they are nonetheless problems that you have to solve, which keeps you on the move, if you sit at home and do nothing, it might sound strange but having no problems to deal with is a much worse fate in the long run as it keeps you suspended in a dormant state of apathy.
It's like playing a videogame or solving a puzzle, there needs to be a problem/challenge in order for you to have the satisfaction of resolving it. This is why we try to push you into doing things that might be uncomfortable initially but will benefit you in the end.
So be VERY careful, you don't want to enter into a descent of having too much time on your hands. But if your work is truly detrimental to your mental health, you may have to make that decision, but you have to analyze all perspectives carefully, just be prudent that you're not making a mistake.
IMO, don't make the decision for some weeks, it's an idea that needs time to marinate.
Not good, they don’t trust me at all and double check all my work and they going cut my hours again less then a month after the last cut. I think they just trying to phase me out to avoid disability suit but I’m pretty sure this is illegal too.
I get blamed for others mistakes and I fix lot of mistakes but it’s never noticed and I don’t go tell them every time I find one as I just fix it and move on.

I think since the job has been bringing you down so consistently other than the money it's not doing you any good
and is exacerbating your depression. Before you leave though, try this, go back to the guy who asked you if you
could manage and tell him you've thought about it and you're confident you can. I think that was the answer he
was looking for. If he says no then since you aren't happy anyway I think it's worth risking the job you have to push
for working in the warehouse. Pointing out you don't have enough to do in your present position might help, it
shows you are motivated.
I agree that you need a change, the warehouse job might be worse or it might be good but even if it isn't good
it's something else you have tried. Good luck ![]()

I concur with SecretOpossumCabal and I'd be taking his advice if I were you. He's clearly got some insight.

My perspective is it's always better to leave a job when you have another lined up, or a contingency plan of some kind. In the short-term, quitting a job and having no job might feel like a bit of a holiday (assuming you're not thrown into financial peril as a result), but long-term, unemployment creates a feeling of aimlessness, or exacerbates it if it already exists, and worsens depression.
I also don't think sly should say with certainty that he can handle the 8 hour warehouse position if he's not certain he can. I believe he said in the past he works 4 hours, and if he's not sure whether he can handle double that in one day, he'd best let the manager know so if they choose to trial him for an 8 hour shift then they're doing so with the understanding that he might not be able to handle it.
Is the warehouse job less days or more hours overall?
It’s why I’ve kept paying my membership.
Good thinking.

Doesn’t matter they told me no and that they’d actually be cutting hours. I’ll probably be out of a job in month or two or sooner. Either say I need to go get on food stamps again

What exactly are food stamps? we don't have these.

Government benefit meant for food only.
Before I got a job I was getting $160 a month. When I got my job I made too much and only got $16 but now I won’t make enough to cover my food needs if they cut my hours more.

Do they pay it $s into your bank or is it more like a stamp/ticket type of thing that you exchange for food in the shop?
