Support groups and classes are free for kids but for adults cost most then any adult aspie who would need it can afford.

Mean $2,460 for a dating support group to build positive thinking. Way too renforce the idea thst poor aspies aren’t good enough.

I think you've provided your own answer -- it's all about the money.

Even then, "Dating Services" are notorious for ripping off their clients. "Support Groups" aren't much better. Combine them into one function, and the exploitation multiplies.

You might be better off visiting a "Meet Market" -- a singles' bar or club -- and watching how people interact to see what works best.

Here in New York City there are some free support groups for adult Aspies/HFA's. Here is a list of free support groups (including adult groups) run by what is now the Asperger's and High Functioning Autism Association (now in process of becoming a subsidiary of the Asperger / Autism Network). Also here in NYC there is an organization called Aspies for Social Success which runs, among other things, peer-led support groups (calendar here).

Hopefully in other places too the autism community will eventually grow to the point where free or low-cost support groups become feasible.
