I collect things. Shoes, jackets, back packs books etc. I like finding pictures on pinterest and my mom has a printer and prints them off. I have a few photo albums now of pictures. But I keep finding cool pictures and I want to print them all! So far my habits with collecting other things isnt so bad. Just pictures and clothes. I have four storage tubs that are over flowing with clothes. Whenever I get money I shop for clothes. I rarely give my clothes away. I dont know how to stop collecting clothes and pictures. Someone help me please!

Rule for clothes: If you buy something new, you have to get rid of something. (by donation to thrift store charity)

Rule for pictures: Tell your mom she needs to charge you ten cents a page for printing your pictures.

DON’T LOOK.

I had this habit with antique old books, someitmes I’d peruse ebay’s antique book section just to see what’s there and if I see an old book with an interesting subject with a pretty cover it has GOT to be mines.

But if it’s a real issue you have to stop it at its root, DON’T LOOK. Stop yourself from looking at the pictures and of the clothes and of pictures of clothes!

Every once in awhile I would treat myself to a new book but I make sure not to look out of boredom because that's when I get impulsive.

I like the dont look approach. That would work. But I dont have anything to do all day but look at pictures. I love it. Some here have suggested volunteering. But I dont really want to do that. Too lazy. So I might have to somehow look at pictures without printing them off. I think it would be heart breaking if I found some really good pictures and couldnt print them off. Tourture! It has to end at some point though.

Mom said she would just start saying no but she has to actually follow through with that.
