You all heard of Momo, right? The freakish sculpture that was used by trolls to scare children on WhatsApp or something. If you don't know, look it up on Google.

Anyway, this thing definitely lies in the uncanny valley for me, not because of the WhatsApp thing, but just how it looks. I don't know how or why artists make these ugly, creepy sculptures and call it art. To me it should be called nightmare fuel.

And that's exactly what it is, nightmare fuel. I haven't looked up or seen this Momo for weeks, if not months, but it keeps appearing in my dreams for some reason. It makes the dreams unbearably scary. Why does it keep coming into my dreams?

It takes a lot to scare me, so I don't know why I'm so freaked out by this thing.

Tell it, "Listen, I'm not afraid of you. You are pathetic, ridiculous and a crappy effort at trying to worry me". Mean it.

I can't do lucid dreaming. When I dream, I don't know it's a dream at the time, I think it's real until I wake up.

This sculpture is in your mind during the day as well as nighttime, right? It was imprinted on your mind during the day.

Therefore, saying those words and feeling it during the day will be eventually reflected in your dreams.

You don't even have to do that.

All you need to do is (1) shut your eyes, and then (2) open them up again.

When you open your eyes in a dream your real eyelids actually open up in real life, and there you are, awake. When I was child I had recurring dreams of falling off high buildings I discovered that trick by accident because I would shut my eyes in the dream as I fell.

I don't know, I often used to tell myself to open my eyes the next time I dreamed, but during the dream I just couldn't do it. Even if I did dream of opening my eyes, I bet I wouldn't actually open my eyes. I know this, because sometimes I dream of peeing in a toilet, but I'm not actually peeing (thank God), although some people do actually pee if they dream about peeing. I'm not sure if it's to do with being on Sertraline or not, but my dreams are so vivid and so uncontrollable. I even dream about dying, although I don't die in real life... obviously.

The key is to ..close your eyes first in the dream-and THEN open your eye- in the dream. This causes your real eyelids to actually open.
