I dont know if anyone will be able to help me. This is just a rant. I wish I had my own apartment. I havent been able to find any affordable ones though. I left a note for the landlord to put poison in the walls to get rid of the rats. Then a guy Ive been having trouble with left a mean comment on the note that I couldnt spell
And that killing them that way would stink up the house. I dont know why he said I couldnt spell. Everything on the note looked right. Maybe he comes here and sees all my spelling mistakes...
Then there is the woman who shouts into the phone at 3 am. She has been told too keep the noise level down lots of times but just keeps right on shouting.
There has been lots of problems here. Im fed up with people treating me like crap here. But dont know if living in an apartment would be any better. It probably would, if I could afford one. Looked for low income housing. Couldnt find any. Low income buildings kind of scare me anyway.

I would be fed up, too.

Keep in mind you live in a fallen world so the people are very broken as a result. That guy was being passive aggressive but don’t pay him any mind as he’s just another broken person in a broken world.

You must not react to how people treat you because you’re basically like a ship with no captain being tossed by the waves then. When people are testing you just remind yourself “oh that’s right, it’s a fallen world”, and just try to move on, if you react to people feeding you poison then the poison worked, fulfilling their mission to turn you into their own likeness.

You have to learn patience and understand this world is just a very sad and broken place. You're broken, I'm broken, everyone is, but once we understand that it's in the nature of a broken people to act dysfunctional, then we can adjust our reaction to them accordingly. You don't expect a broken vending machine to spit out candy, after all, so when you go out there, expect much the same and lower your expectations so that you're not blindsided by disappointment.

There's a reason why babies come into their world crying their eyes out. They know what's up.

He could think using poison is cruel. Or he could just be crazy.

He's right in the sense that if rats are killed in between walls, there would be a stench.

Otherwise, he's a jerk.

My parents used poison for mice and there was no smell. But maybe thats because they're smaller?

I'm not an expert here but I heard some mice poisons mummify the mice so they dry and don't smell. https://bighomechores.com/best-rat-poisons/ claims MOTOMCO 008-32345 Tomcat has this feature.

Ive tried having this view before. But it never helps. I always go back to thinking people should just not be a**holes.

I agree with Sarah's above statement.

Why can't people "just not be a**holes?"

Because the world is filled with broken, selfish a**holes that refuse to show some common courtesy that everyone deserves to be shown.

I would agree with SecretOpossumCabal,
Once we react to people who are immature then we open up the 'door' for them to come in. They have found our weak spot.
I have been abused (as a cabbie) by people who just abuse me so they can feel better about themselves. Such people would live their lives seeking out people to 'get to.'
However, I have learnt not to react to such people and when I do not react they immediately lose their power over me.
Thankfully the abuse I receive is 1 person in a 100.
Stay strong dear Sarah.

everyone's tires were slashed last night. I'm looking at a place tomorrow. not that moving to a different location will solve all my problems but it would be nice to have my own place.

Yes and it has happened before too. The police are getting involved.

The jerk is against me tonight. As I was bringing my laundry downstairs he said, that "I was at it again." I dont know what is so bad about bringing laundry downstairs. This place is driving me crazy.

More mean people! Today as I was walking past a house with girls outside they yelled hi. Thought it was wierd but waved anyway. As I walked past the second time they yelled hi again so I didnt say anything. Then they started laughing in a mean spirited way.

There actually is a lot of crime around here but it doesnt make it to the news.

I just want to spiritualy grow. Hard to do when you live here. I want to live in a nicer town but all the nice towns around here have fewer resources.

It is also hard to grow when you're a 34 year old woman getting bullied just like in grade 6!
