Before I got my apartment, I lived on my own for six years before my mom died. After she died, I was in the Very Worse way & I couldn’t handle living on my own anymore, I was sooo lost, I was scared, I felt so alone & I felt so weak, I got so depressed too. I moved back into my mom’s house, my sister & my nephew were living there, if I didn’t move, I would get evicted, I didn’t have enough money for rent. I got along with my sister really good for the first time, we acted like friends too, she came to talk to me about her nightmares & her stupid husband, we got along for around six months. Her son was acting very bad, destroying her artwork & ruining things, he was also doing bad at school. My sister let her husband move in to help with their son, she also lied to me, she told me if he acted bad, she would kick him out of the house & she broke her promise.
Living with her was a living nightmare, she stopped talking to me, when I talked to her about my Aspergers & other stuff, she didn’t listen to me, she can think what she wants & believe that. When I swept the floors, she complained that I didn’t do a very good job, she gave me anxiety & stress. I had to pay her for cooking for me. She acted like it was her house & I needed to follow her rules, her husband acted like it was his house too, but he was a guest that never left, my mom left that house for me & my sister. My sister made me feel like I was the guest, she acted like she was in charge of the house.
Four years later, she still thinks she knows me sooo good & she thinks she knows what best for me. She wasn’t in my life too much growing up, we lived together on & off for around 20 years, we didn’t talk too much to each other growing up, even as kids, we got along sometimes, when I was a baby, we got along, my mom told me we were best friends if I believed that. I HATE that she thinks she knows almost everything about me.

I was the whipping post for my mom and sister (both have Aspie traits like me) in childhood. Your post reminds me of the emotional abuse I endured. I am **still** trying to establish healthy boundaries decades later. You are not asking for advice or comments, so other than those unsolicited comments, I will say --- I am witness to your crappy situation and I am sorry for it. Bluck.

Was she the one paying the bills, including your share? Did she do more housework than you? If the answer's yes to both then it's no wonder if she considered it her house.

When my parents die my brother wont even let me stay with him if I need help. At least your sister let you stay there, but she isnt being fair to you.
