I had coffee with a friend, I went for a walk in the park, I had a glass of wine and a nice long bath and listened to some relaxing music.

And I'm still stressed.

I don't know what to do.

I'll try and go to sleep and have a good night's rest, but I've been constantly stressed for a few weeks now.

I've got emotional stuff going on. I've got job stress, but I'm not expected to take it home with me, I can leave it in the office and my colleagues are nice. I'm just finding the work a bit difficult. Steep learning curve.

I can't quite let the stress go even though I'm taking steps to control it.

What else can I do?

Well, there's always physical exhaustion. That seemed to do it for me.

I used to go to the gym and do a mile or two on the elliptical trainer as fast as I could go. Or run a mile or two on the treadmill (or outside if the weather was cooperative). Always made me feel better afterwards.

I should probably get back to it because I have days now where my job is very stressful and strenuous exercise always helped a lot.
