{I didn't know the most suitable place to put this so I guessed}.

I am really greatful many of you understand the mental and physical aspects and I have learnt a lot and have been able to open up in many of those areas. Just to open up is such a relief.

I find I can't fully open up as certain areas in my life.

I do count it a miriacle that I have been open up the way I have done. I have really needed to. And I have learnt so, so much with all of your replies... I have learnt things about myself I had never considered by opening up.

I would so love to fully open up though, but I can't.
In the past I was thinking that if only I could open up to a doctor but it would take weeks of full time work for a doctor just to listen if I was ever able to open up like that. Doctors have other patients too, so I never can open up there.

You've done a lot in a very short time.
There is even more to explore :D

Well done. It is good to open up. We can learn so much about ourselves and each other. It is soo helpful. When I have tried opening up on ordinary NT sites, it is a case that I need somewhere to dodge the bullets!
Yet here is such a blessing!

I'm very quiet, withdrawn, and aloof in real life so it's a major accomplishment for me to open up on this forum.

I used to be very quiet and withdrawn until I reached my 20's. Now I go quiet when in a crowded place, but otherwize I am usually ok.
. The change happened as the types of work I have done and do opened me out a bit and it was a more one to one situation... Alao I would wear a work mask. Looking back I don't know how I did it, but I took a job working 9 years on the railways as a guard. (The one who deals with tickets and is in charge of the train.. Not the driver). Maybe because railways is my special interest made me cope better?
