We been texting lately, she needed information from me. My mom put her in charge of our trust fund, the money is my, hers & my nephew, so I have to text her. I have caregiver, my sister write the checks so I have to text her, we texted today, I told her she does not know everything, she texted ‘I Do know’ I screamed & got very upset.

We certainly don't know everything.
Did she refuse to pay your checks?
Were your spendings higher than usual?
Does she know why?

Joking, or not: What is the color of my [piece of clothing] I have on right now?

Of course if you only wear certain colors that wouldn't work. And there is the possibility she'd guess correctly. But my point is: YOU know she doesn't know everything.

I wonder what you really wanted to say when you wrote "you don't know everything" --- what did you need from her? That would be worthwhile to put out there in a composed, firm way.

I can say this, but look to me to model it much (yet). I took assertiveness tests and scored 20-30% (low). I'm trying to increase that myself. I'm afraid it may be linked to Kitty's current online romance. We all warn her it looks like a scam and to never give the guy any money. If these presumptions are true, it looks like her sister shares our opinion.
