My husband now has cellulitis in his right foot/leg. The nurse is making me wrap it at home. His diabetes is still out of control, up and down and up and down, etc... He woke up in the middle of the night with a sugar of 45... Yikes! Now his bloody stools are back in full force. Plus he's walking worse than ever.

Now I really feel like I am some sort of nurse and it's making me hate my life. The nurse told me he's too sick for me to get a job and leave his side :( He still refuses to go into long-term care...

Do you want to stay with him? Cause if you do you're going to be misses nursey. If you leave him you will be free and he will have no option other than to go in a nursing home.

All you have to do is say you are unable to safely care for him. Then social services will get involved.

APS IS involved and they determined they can't force him to do anything! The worker checks up on him every once in awhile.

Nothing saying you have to do the care, start developing a limp and use a back brace.
