I cant be like the rest of society

My life is hard to cope because of problems like social anxiety, aspergers, loneliness, ugliness... Im unloved and one of the few people who geniunely have zero friends. The people at my age are social and successful at many aspects of life. I cant be like them. Thats why im depressed. Whats the point of life if i dont belong to this world? I feel trapped.What would you do if you were me?

Many Aspies if they grow and develop properly can become "nonconformist". You need to develop a pretty thick hide to become a "nonconformist" but as such you become extremely important to society. Here are a few quotes about nonconformist:

The early 20s are tough for most guys. Guys typically become more attractive as they mature, while women peak in their mid 20s and decline.

But, in your 20s most guys have options. You may given opportunities just because you are young, eager, and willing to work hard. Now is a great time to develop a career if you want that.

Find other outliers like yourself and befriend them.

The breakthrough can occur when we find one of our own "tribes". Some have found theirs in an academic speciality, some in the Silicon Valley setting, some in developing a talent like acting.

It's not restricted to those examples.

I hope you will find your way to your tribe or tribes, where you experience the sense of fitting in and acceptance, because this IS possible.

It doesn't have to be tied to a life goal. At the moment for example (I am retired) my tribe is a bird photographers group. It doesn't matter who is AS and who is NT there, the tribe is devoted to the shared love, protection and visual recording of our birds here in NZ (and includes some of the nicest people I have ever encountered) - except for here of course! But that's me, and there are different strokes for different folks, we are not clones just because we have AS conditions.

Finding your tribe is a trial and error process, be prepared for that, and deep down you will know instinctively whether you have found the right one of not when you join a group, if you take that cue from whether your energy goes up or down after an initial encounter with one
