I had a horrible breakdown in 2012 and gradually recovered from then til now. 2016 I even started my first relationship and moved in with him. My mental health has been pretty manageable til now but the for over a week now I'm in a weird unpleasant mental state which sucks bad because I thought I was only getting better with time and don't want my partner to have to live with that side of me. I'm scared it's something of a comeback or has been triggered by the stress if christmas but I'm not sure snd it's causing me huge anxiety.

I'm really fatigued, just no energy at all. My muscles are tense but weak and walking is shaky. My head feels strange like there's a cloud wrapped around it an I keep crying at the drop of a hat. I can't afford to go back to the way I lived before. I just want this to stop and to feel normal! Please help, I'm not in a mental health system here on the island I now live on. I just keep sedating myself because it's the only relief I can get.

My first thought is, have you been getting enough sleep?

Are you physically ill? Cold, flu anything?

Last, if nothing else is wrong, then this is just a temporary setback. It is not the end of the world. Seek help and keep moving forward.

I will get physically ill and it effects me strongely mentally.

Can you go to a doctor? Best to nip it in the bud if it is a recurrence.

Get enough sleep. Care about enough vitamins. Go out into the sun. Hear music that causes you having fun. Try sports - except in case of a cold or COVID-19 which makes you feeling powerless as well. Try some green tee or a bit more coffee.
