Isabella was a support for you, her loss must be difficult, perhaps you could post in the haven or games forums when you are in fight/flight mode.

This is haven. I was just called a snitch for saying I’d call cops if someone assaulted me.
And several members have stated its ok to assault non leftist, and non leftist deserve it.
This is part of why isa left. It upset her to see how I and others are treated and mods don’t care.

Hardly anyone condemns their call to violence.

Best not call police if some guy assaults you amity cause then you’re a snitch.

Have you reported these attacks to the moderators?  Keep in mind they're a bit short-handed right now.

Calling the police for being assaulted doesn't make you a snitch. Don't listen to such nonsense.

I don't know what's going on, but someone being called a "snitch" for getting help when they're assaulted is amusing to me because of the site we're on. That's the logic NT people often use when autistic kids consistently get beat up and/or harassed and attempt to remedy it, they then get mocked and called snitches.

I don’t see many condemning calls for violence. One who did is gone.
These posters are bullies. And just like bullies most people defend them not the victim

Just like I deserved to be assaulted in school for how I dressed, being different and my speech issue. I brought it on myself. The bullies were in the right.

When we are triggered, we are hypervigilant, we see threats everywhere. It hijacks our brains and alters how we perceive things.

I know WP is left leaning, but I dont tend to discuss political issues generally and definitely not when I'm hypervigilant.
It's not that I dont want to btw, but I have to, like Isabella, put my health first.

Unfortunately the legacy issues that accompany the traumatic experiences mean that it becomes the victims responsibility to self care long term. Its best to not post in the argumentative forums.

I’m not triggered this attitude has been going on for weeks now and seen as perfectly acceptable behavior to just go assault those who disagree with the left.

Amity I’m trying to be nice cause you maybe don’t know what’s going on but I’m nit seeing threats, the threats are clear enough some others have spoke out about them but not most. People are saying it’s ok to attack trump voters cause they evil and brought it on them selves. It’s ok to punch people who disagree with us and if they call cops their snitches.

So you have two choices, you can support violence and assault on people for their different opinions or you can condemn it. The choice is yours. But if it’s the first then I want nothing to do with it.

I don’t like many democrat politicians and I think Biden is horrible but I’d sooner give my life to protect a Biden voter then let someone assault them for voting for Biden.
No one deserves to be assaulted, violence isn’t ok. No one deserves to be harassed and slandered either.

I've been attacked, sometimes completely out of the blue and rather viciously. I'm much older than you and learned how to defend myself, which is not your fault.

And if I'm around, I speak for others when they are bullied and I also speak against violence (CHAZ and punch a nazi thread included). And I spoke out in regards to biased moderation several times. I do so calmly, even if sometimes I'm upset and low-key, reasonable posts are often ignored here, especially in the middle of a fight.

We're having a bit of a moderation crisis right now and everybody seems on edge due to current events. You're perfectly entitled in your complaints and I see the double standard too. But because many people here, whether you see it or not, do NOT want to see you lose your temper and get banned, we're trying to offer some support here. It's better to refrain from posting if you're upset: I know it's not fair since others get away with it, but it's not safe for you. Vent here, you can still talk to Isabella or you can PM me or others if you're in crisis. I admit I feel quite helpless in offering any concrete help, but I can offer an ear if you need one.

If anyone deserves to be called a "Snitch", it's me.  I have no reservations against clicking on the "Report" button, sending a PM to all the moderators, and/or posting a complaint in the Moderators' Attention thread -- sometimes all at once!

Just make sure that the violation is obvious, and that you provide links to the most egregious offenses.  The mods need all the help they can get, and they just do not have the time to go hunting around for a few specific offenders when simply locking the thread only leads to those offenders going to another thread to troll for fun.

This is typical for people who were traumatised. I'm really sorry you're going through this and I wish you had access to more substantial help.

You did not deserve any of that, neither did I, nor Amity, Kraftie, Isabella and countless of others here. Sadly, sometimes victims of abuse turn into bullies themselves.

We're on different timezones, I'll do my best to be around if you want to keep posting here in the next few days. Please stay here instead of posting something impulsive in other parts of the forum.

There are decent people around. I don’t like Trump....but it’s ridiculous to punch somebody because they like Trump. I don’t think you would be a snitch if somebody punched you and you called the police.

To tell you honestly, I wish you and I got along better. I wish you would say hi to me, instead of getting upset with me because I don’t like Trump.

I wish you would allow people to give you good advice, and not dismiss it when people try to help you feel better. People give advice based on their life experiences.
