Hobby.

With no car and no friends it seems I won’t be able to go shooting anymore,
I have to remind myself as much as I want to not to buy more guns.
Guess I’m down to just video games.
Silver coins are all sold out, apparently I’m more ugly without a beard so can’t do my shaving hobby anymore.

Can you drive?
I gather, even the cheapest clunker you can drive makes all the difference in most of the US.

So shooting's the one you're talking about now? Even if you can't go shooting now, what makes you so sure the change is permanent? No need to give up right away is there; for now, consider it a break. You'll also save the money that would otherwise go to the bullets (and I don't think using a shooting range is free either...?) And since you're interested in guns in general, you could use the saved time to study about them.

How far are you away from the nearest shooting range?

If it’s 3 miles or less, just walk.

With my little eye, I spy someone who tries to get others in to his hobby every chance he gets.

How did you notice? Mind you. To me nearly everything involves trains!

And if it’s more than 3 miles, also walk - just farther.

Edit: When I didn’t have a car I didn’t sell off any surf kites or anything. I just bided my time until I was in such a position that I could drive myself and my gear to a kite beach again. Basically, don’t give up - either find a work around or wait until you’re able to do your thing again.
