somebody here likes to create mental drawings with abstract three-dimensional things and stains? You looking into a scene and then you arrange the objets with your mind to create things like faces (my case). Somebody here has ever experienced something like that?

Lots of people do that.

Well, if you mean when you look at wall paper patterns for instance, and see a different image from what is really there, lots of people are like that. Is that what you mean?

Yes. My son also does it, I think it's a sign of creativity, it's really fun. I only found out my son does the same thing when he was already an adult. We were walking and saw this olive tree and we both saw a face in the bark at the same time and verbalised it. Keep up the good work!

You might like to check out Mondrian the artist and see his paintings that evolve from realism into Cubism, it's riveting.

I go through phases where I see faces in EVERYTHING. I love it but it can get a bit creepy. Then it will decrease for a while. I think it is linked to periods of flow and creativity. Have you thought about taking your drawing beyond the mental and translating it into a medium that others can enjoy? I like collaging.

I do that with clouds in the sky too or the textures on my popcorn ceilings. I space out and daydream, usually more so when I'm bored trying to pass the time while waiting around for someone or something.
