Hope I am posting this in the right place but , I wish to make it known that within as much rights are available on such a sight as this , I wish to demand the return of “Mountain Goat “ By whatever means are available .
His experience around trains and there working in very much a one of a kind experience for this site ,
Would very much like to point out that his contributions make this a smoother kinder experience for members here .
Am not discussing him as a poster but rather concerned for his well being . Feel free to pm me if you are concerned with making your response public .

I greatly appreciate MG as a poster as well, and agree with your point that his overall presence makes things feel better here - I could absolutely be wrong but I believe the last I heard about him was that he is currently without internet? Again, not trying to assume that nothing is wrong, but that is the last I heard.

I hope the thing about racism didn't scare him off. I have also noticed an absence of other users as well from that time period. We almost lost Amity (i think she made her return) and ASPartofme.

I am back. This is the first time the internet has comw back. I was very briefly back for a few minutes vis brothers friends internet to do a quick check of emails but was not able to do much in the timw I had.
Lightening hit and destroyed the router on 11th august and it has taken this long for them to send an engineer out to see what was wrong and for the replacemwnt router to arrive. It took four to five days to get through as the phone lines were jammed so it wasn't just us who had the issues! Kinda feel sorry for the poor people who have to deal with us customers.
I did try driving to various towns with free internet but somwhow I just could not get it to work.
I hope no one missed me too much.

I have catching up to do. What have I missed?

Plank. Uhmm. There is a short old film on Youtube called "The Plank". British commedy. They made two versions. They are both similar but filmed at different dates.
I think I am going off subject.
Is it the same Alex who owns this site?

Alex Plank was one of the people who created WP in 2004.

The same person as Alex then. It makes sense.
