Leaving WP

I’m leaving this site. This forum has not been a good experience for me.

This place is overran by the same few people who comment on every single post 100 times 24/7. This is not a forum for the public. And any “outsiders” who post is only fuel for their incessant need to connect with the outside world through the only means they have, a screen.

I don’t care what happens to this post-I’m sure they will quote and post and twist everything into a drama cess pool. Also I don’t care if this post gets removed as I will not be returning to this site.
Too much victim mentality, too much coddling, and too much drama!! !! !! !!

Even reddit is healthier than this forum.

Don't take stuff to heart, the internet is full of people with issues and this is an outlet.

I been a member of this forum for probably over 10 years now because my experiences here have been aLOT better than on other sites I've been to. Things are very far from perfect in some ways but over all I am a lot more accepted & understood here.
I find it odd when members gripe about how horrible this forum is & those members feel the need to b!tch about how their leaving. Especially when they are newish members. It seems suspicious. I wonder if those members are maybe projeoocting their own issues onto this forum.

AcidicBlue, I’m sorry you are leaving. It takes quite a while to have people get to notice and understand you as a person from posts. I thought you had good contributions to make.

Moved the topic to The Haven as a more suitable place.
It takes some time to know a person from their posts.

This is not very encouraging

Just don't pay attention to Pepe, or others. (I love Pepe dearly, but some don't get his humor.)

Also, look for the threads where the WP addicts don't hang out.

It is amazing the people who are here and are posting, but we really don't take time to get to know them.

Perhaps give WP another week.
When you get negative responses, express why you feel their posts are inappropriate.
Perhaps that could be the first step in cleaning up some of the anger and criticism and hatefulness around here.
Perhaps you could be the one to initiate changes to bring the old WP back, where people felt like we were talking to friends, and where this was a refuge, not a minefield.

Please reach out to me. I'm trying to make sure this doesn't happen anymore. I've been in the process of selecting new moderators. We had some members who were trying to create conflicts and i think probably still do so I want to make sure we have a harmonious community.
