Tired of trying

After awhile, things become too much to take.

I'm feeling exhausted by having to be something I'm not to conform to the demands of a society that doesn't accept me.

Do you feel tired? This f*****g year? This world?

This is how I am. I feel done by it all. I don't want to be doing this s**t anymore.

Tiered? Oh, yes!
This year? *hmm* I think I don't stuggle with this year. Luckily I (only *haha*) struggle with all that unlogical behaviour of (some/many) people.

Can you remember the good times you have had? Don't forget them, they will repeat like all the other things

Over the years,
i have "tried to fit in"
focusing on the outside
instead of within

but now i
realise it doesn't make me happy
to superimpose
man made nonsense
over reality

for they are just human
as you and i are too
who made them god
to tell us what to do?

now i look to the universe
for my guidance and love
a universe of peace
that does not judge

i recommend for you
to do this too
look up at the night sky
and find peace inside you

I see this is your first post, so welcome to Wrong Planet.

I think you’ll find many on this forum who are tired and worn out from not fitting in. I for one have made myself sick over it.

At least here you will find others who share this struggle.

This is well said and expresses a lot of what I felt/feel as well.

To the OP:
I think I was in my mid to late forties when I realized that I had had enough trying to fit in and was just gonna be the me I was meant to be. Welcome to other side :heart: The grass really is greener. I hope you find it so as well.
