For awhile I belonged to a gaming chat where a guy from a different country gives away rare Pokemon... I've gotten attached to the people there...

Turns out the guy that runs the chat is giving them away because he's thinking about commiting suicide, but the kindness of the people in the group pulled him out of it...

Plus he and everyone else has autism, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, etc...

Glad games can really help people

But I'm still sad

It’s not sad that you talked him out of suicide.

That both feelings exist is understandable.
May the once suicidal fellow find hope and fulfillment.
And it would be cool if he became someone who could reach out and help people who are where he was.

Yes, I can see how that would seem sad. But anyway, let this chap know how much he has meant to the group and how much you appreciate him.

Sometimes a few kind words can save a life. Really.
