I accidentally turned on autodelivery for 20lb bags of cat food I don't need right now, so I put a post on FB I'm giving it away for the holidays for someone who has hungry kitties... I feel bad now??? I don't understand???
Don't worry about it. You're being less selfish than your friend and your friend is overreacting. Pat them on the head like they're a small child and get on with your day. Don't discuss the matter further with them or validate them in any way, don't get defence or argue and don't take them seriously even if they're being serious. And don't feel bad, it's your cat food and your prerogative on what gets done with it.
