Greetings, it has been a while since I was last here and needed to do a password reset to get back in. I'm hoping that I can find someone to talk to who might be able to help me. To give some background on myself, I'm an individual with Asperger's who has a mouse persona who has a collection of plush toys and a few animal costumes. I was once told that furry would fit me and I had been in the Pennsylvania Furry group for some time until recently. Not too long ago, someone had added me to a group on Telegram that I had no idea it was bad at the time and I don't remember who it was. I forgot all about that group until I found out about it and had to leave it immediately to try to save my dignity. It had caused me to be removed from so many groups I was in because someone was sharing a screenshot of my name in said group and being called out as a Nazifur which I am honestly not as I don't even know what that is. I have tried talking to a few of the admins of the Pennsylvania Furry group, but they weren't even listening to my explanation that I was in the bad group by mistake and I had left it. It has caused me to be upset and hurting since I'm being cut off from socializing. I've also just come across something that furry is not the right place with those with Asperger's, so I don't know where to turn to as I can't find any groups in the area that I can join to find friendship.

Are there any other “furry groups” you can join?

I’m sorry the Pennsylvania Furry group is not being understanding.

Not really, I haven't been able to find another Pennsylvania Furry group to join and I'm afraid if I join another group, I may find that I have been removed from there due to the same reason. It is looking like furry might not be for me and I may have to find some other support group that would accept who I am. I have already been thrown out of as much as eight groups now and don't want to make it even worse. I've also been removed from a Discord Server due to the same reason and its like they are trying to get me nuked from everywhere I go and it is hurting and upsetting.

Like I have said, I have Asperger's and OCD and I'm not what they are trying to claim I am, and I'm just feeling hurt and upset and need help.

I don’t believe you are a Nazifurry.

Yeah, and from what I am finding out, is furries want to cancel anyone they can and it is looking more like I don't belong in furry the way I am being treated. It has me wondering where else I can turn to that would accept and Asperger's person with a mouse persona who has a lot of plush toys and a few animal costumes.

Furries are a messy bunch. Some parts will harass or cancel you for the fun of it, others may welcome in the worst kinds of people like child molesters. The biggest problem however is the absolutely rampant animal fetishization.
If I were you, I'd stay the hell away from the lot of them.

I’m sorry that you are going through this.
It sounds like you only want friends.
There seems to be some hostility in these groups, and I don’t understand why.
I would think that groups for people with special interests would be focused on being a positive place for these individuals to be.
Is there any possibility that someone in one of the groups is spreading lies about you?
I think that talking about this openly is a very good idea.
There may be people interested in becoming involved in the Furry culture who should be aware of the potential hostility within the groups.
I think that your honesty can be a warning for someone.

Good morning, I had been told something similar somewhere else and felt that may not be for me after all. That leaves me wondering where to go who would accept someone like me who has a mouse persona and owns a lot of stuffed animals and a few animal costumes.

Well, it had gotten to the point that they had me thrown out of a Discord Server as well and all I wanted to do is to have friends. And I'm not certain, but there might be someone in one of the groups spreading lies about me trying to get me cut off from the local community.

Well, my mental illness is Asperger's and OCD and so far have not seen much help regarding that.

According to the Internet, Nazi Furs (sometimes spelled Nazifurs), is a furry community who harbor an interest in WWII era social/political paramilitary Germany.
The term furry describes a diverse community of fans, artists, writers, gamers, and role players. Most furries create for themselves an anthropomorphized animal character (fursona) with whom they identify and can function as an avatar within the community.

So in a sense they are trying to label you as a Nazi without any proof. It is a fallout of the "woke" generation.

What to do? Perhaps you could change your identity in the furry community and come back anew. But be careful about revealing your identity.

Or maybe change to a different website that focuses on avatars, such as the Spirit Animal Wiki. Or maybe Animal Crossing Community. But this is just a guess.

Well, I can tell you that I'm a fan, writer, gamer, and perhaps role player.

That is an idea which was brought up to me, but it had backfired and made things worse. Also, the issue there is that it would be an identity I couldn't associate with.

I have no idea what the Spirit Animal Wiki is as that is the first time I heard about it.

Although I am not familiar with furries, I wonder if they have an organizational structure similar to Sci Fi Conventions and Fantasy Conventions. Do they have get togethers where flurries dressed in costumes meet and greet?
