I agree with you Kraftie but NTs have all kinds of hidden meanings.
And in 'hidden meaning' language it looks judgy.
I don't think Joe was being judgy but I can see why an NT would think that.
NTs don't like being told what to post. I guess we all don't but NTs are almost anxious over it - and you know I don't use that word lightly.
I don't think that is the case. I'm not blind to NT "language". I was just speaking.
He does like me. He's one of those people who like most people if they're nice, and I'm nice.
What I said was something any normal person might say when seeing a picture of a delicious dinner whilst scrolling through their social feed.
But I've already agreed in this thread that he probably was kidding. I'm just sensitive about the word "moan". I hate that word. It would have been a better joke if he'd said "stop pining", as that what I was kind of doing - pining for food.
But people have often told me to stop moaning when I literally wasn't moaning at all, I was just stating something in a matter of fact way or expressing an opinion or emotion or whatever. If I was to define "moaning" it would be "miserably monologuing in a high-pitched tone about everything all the time". And I don't do that any more, only as a little kid but I taught myself not to do that as I got older and now I'm more self-aware. I think I did it because it got to me whenever people said "stop moaning, you're a moaning mini, we should call you Mona" and all that. It upset me.
