I'm old and alone and nobody loves me.

You're NOT old. Age is in the mind. I act much younger than what I'm "supposed to" and love it. I'm alone too, but there's someone in a distant city who loves me... and we all care for you here on WP.

Why not go on an adventure?

I have a cold. My throat is really sore. My resilience always goes down when I'm I'll. I get fed up.

Few things cheer someone up more than being out among nature, listening to birds or the sound of running water.

Wait until your cold has subsided and then go on an adventure.

Plan it now though as it will make you feel excited!

Me too. I love that. I live near the beach and go walking there often, but if I drive in the other direction I have woodlands with streams to walk in. Very happy here.

Being old is a mindset, NOT a number of chronological age. You're old only because you adopted the old and senile paradigm that says past a certain number of years lived senescence, decline and lack of vigor are the new norm that one must adopt to. Only that's BS and nonsense and patently false.

Have you ever heard of the legendary fitness icon Jack Lalanne, aka the renowned Godfather of fitness? When Jack Lalanne was 54 he challenged Arnold Schwarzenegger, yes the Arnold Schwarzenegger of bodybuilding legend, to a chin up contest. Arnold was and is still the greatest bodybuilder of all time, and he was in the prime of his youth challenging a 54 year old to a pull up contest. You know who won? Jack Lalanne. Did you know when Jack Lalanne was 70 he dragged 70 boats in the ocean while handcuffed? The man lived up to 96 and even at that age he was killing it in life.

You say you're old but dont let a number decide your vitality and way of life.

And you say nobody likes you but as far as I can tell you're well liked on this forum. I'm sorry if outside this forum you struggle to make friends, being on the spectrum it is certainly a challenge for many, but know that there are people in this big and populous world of ours who are drawn to the companionship of those like you. You just have to keep looking and with an open mind eventually you may find the niche and people who make you feel loved and belonging

Stay strong hurtloam. You're not as old and unloved as you think you are.

Senile? Hold on how did that word come into the equation lol

I follow Arnold Schwarzenegger on social media, he's a very positive guy.

Sorry, whenever someone complains of being old I assume that they're taking on the paradigm of old = senile mindset

And Arnold is a positive guy. He's 73 and he has the vigor and drive that puts 25 year old athletes to shame. The man is living proof and testament to how a strong and powerful mindset can transform a person into an unstoppable force. Everyone has that power in them

People assume Arnold's greatest strength is his muscles when its actually his mind (and yes I know that the brain is a muscle, inb4 pedantic anatomists start griping)

It's pretty true about strong mind - strong body.; A strong mind also leads to a stronger immune system better able to fight infections. I needed reserves of endurance to complete ten Comrades Marathons which cover a distance of just under 90 km. Running has always been in my blood!

I've also always enjoyed my mountain hiking and camping among unspoilt wilderness areas.

Everyone has something that cheers them up and makes them happy.

You’re still young….at least 20 years younger than me….and I’m not old!

Sorry you’re feeling the way you do.

Sore throats suck! Maybe gargle or suck on candy or cough drops?

Taking a shower, or taking a walk has been good for me when I get sore throats and colds.
