My parents are going through exhaustion and I think it's partly because of me. I feel bad because of it. I started taking my medication again to help. I'm also trying to stay asleep at night and to not sleep in the day.

I can tell they are stressed because of the way they act. They seem to want more alone time. My mom goes in her room to lie down. I think its because I keep her up. I try not to do that. Sometimes I sleep in their room on a cot because I get scared at night.

Also I have been more emotional lately. I get upset by minor things. I cry a lot and it worries them. I do not like when they are worried.

I'm feeling stressed because of their stress.

I believe best thing you can do is focus on your own wellbeing, developing positive habits, structure, mental strength. It will make a huge difference for people around you. It's important to have mental strength to overcome your difficulties and support your parents.

Best habits for building up good mental health:
- exercising
- getting fresh air and direct sunlight
- having consistent sleep schedule
- eating healthy diet (variety or proteins and essential fats)
- taking cold showers
- meditation

Consistently doing chores without your parents asking/reminding means a lot, improves your independence. If you are living with your parents you can try to pretend they are your roommates, try to do an equal share of chores, doing laundry, buying groceries, cooking, etc as much as you can.
