LOL....I'm actually a little jealous of you.

I hate hanging around my wife sometimes. She's such a nag. She seeks to control my life.

My wife wasn't like that. I miss her, and guess I will for a long time.

I'm so sorry you feel so bad.

You sound like you really love her.

Maybe she'll see that, maybe she'll see that you are seeking to "make changes."

It's not out of the question that you will reconcile. Moms know that kids need dads.

Thanks, kraftie. I don't think reconciliation is an option really. She put up with my undiagnosed bipolar disorder for 20+ years. It's like she was living with a ghost. The long term damage has been done, even though I'm doing much better now. No, I think it's in her best interest to move on from me, and I from her.

I'm currently listening to music, but it's through laptop speakers and it's actually more annoying than helpful. :) I ordered some real speakers and they should be here Friday. I think that'll help.

Yeah, I can see that. Right on about the speakers. Fingers crossed they do the trick.

They will, thanks. I've always found music to be a good distraction. I just wish I had some actual work to do these days. I'm between projects right now and I'm supposed to be doing "self directed learning" of a new programming language. It doesn't fill the day, believe me.

When I'm sad, I go on YouTube, and watch old baseball, basketball, and hockey games. I also go to travel vlogs.

I wonder if you are a Bruins fan? I remember when Phil Esposito was on the Bruins, and Bobby Orr. Back in the 1960s. Then you had people like Terry O'Reilly in the 70s. Brad Park later in the 70s.

I'm not much for watching games I already know the outcome to, but thanks for the suggestion.

I'm from Philadelphia, so I'm a Flyers fan. And Phillies and Eagles. I'm not too into basketball.

Do you remember the Broad Street Bullies?

And, of course, Mike Schmidt?

I'm not really that knowledgeable about the Eagles.

I remember them well. When they won the cup in '76, my mom was driving me and my brother and grandmother home from church through Philly. A guy jumped on the hood of our car and dropped his pants - I never heard my grandmother scream like that.

Schmidt? Rings a bell. Oh right...the greatest third baseman in the history of the game. :)

I got sort of into hockey back in the 1960s and 1970s.

I sort of lost interest after the Islanders won the Stanley Cup for the last time in 1984.

Bobby Clarke, all gap-toothed, was cool.....

The Broad Street Bullies was a great era in Philadelphia hockey. I wish they'd be that good again.

Where do they play their hockey now? I think the Spectrum has been closed a long time.

They're in a place called the Wells Fargo Center. I've never been. Saw many a game and lots of concerts at the Spectrum though.

I'm working from home today, too. AND I have some "continuing education" to complete. Yuck! But it is required. The worst part of it is that it keeps shutting down, and tech support takes a "minimum of five days to get back to you." I have to finish this all by 9/30/21 or lose my certification. I'll never get done if it keeps doing stupid stuff.

When working at home I listen to NPR or Pandora or WFMT.

Does your phone have better speakers?

You're doing great.

Yuck indeed! I've never been so bored! I get a break in an hour or so as I have to take my son to the hospital for some imaging. Purely precautionary.

My phone has lousy speakers too. I only have to wait a few more days for real speakers (with subwoofer). 8)

Thank you. I honestly think I am doing great.
