I just met someone

I liked them

we went out

they got arrested for drink driving

I feel so sad

like anyone that spends time with me is cursed

I liked this one

its not the first time

Supposing he was actually drunk it's not your fault he did it or that he got caught. Even if he wasn't drunk it's not your fault that he got arrested.

If he doesn't contact you again it's probably shame, not disliking or blaming you.

I know. I know you really dig him.

But we don't think you should blame yourself.

It's not a "curse." It's just that he shouldn't have driven drunk.

Here's hoping he doesn't get a severe penalty from this.

You can still like him. Men are not perfect but you take them as they are, including their weaknesses (They have strengths too).

You make mistakes. We all do. We try not to but we do.

Now if you like him, do not abandon him when he is down. Go and show him that you love him. He needs your support.

(And maybe you can keep him sober enough so he wont make the same mistake again).

Drink driving is bad & most people don't know this, but scientific research shows that hands-free communication whilst driving is actually just as distracting as being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, because the person on the other end of the phone can't see what you see on the road & doesn't shut up during stressful road situations.
