The world we live in is a closed system, every action has a consequence. To make sense of the world around us we must pay attention to the facts, ignore fantasies and narratives. We cannot be selective with facts, however inconvenient they may be, and must remain objective. Nothing happens without a reason.

Observe and think.

And that is how most humans are genetically wired to think, and it has doomed our species.
