Well I fanally got word back from the hospital today and the result on the tumor front is that the reckon it's benign. That's good news.

They also reckon the trouble with my back is a separate issue to the limp in my right leg so now I am having to go for a full body and brain scan and a ct scan.

That took incredibly long!

When I had cancer, I was called two days after the biopsy.

Good luck with all those new scans!

Yeah it took so long that I kind of got the impression that I was OK. Thank you for you good wishes.

Thank you. It'll be interesting to see what is causing the limp but I'm still nervous about the scans. It doesn't seem to matter how many I have I still hate them.

Very great news indeed!

I hope they will be able to pinpoint the cause of your back pain in this next round of tests. Did they say which conditions they're going to be screening for?

I'm glad that you don't have cancer, and I hope that they can figure out what's wrong w/ your leg and back.

No but I need to make a list of questions to ask for when I go.

That's really kind of you. I'm glad as well. Its good to be able to put my daughters mind at rest more than anything. I sometimes think that I can face anything if it was just me on my own but it's more hard when there's someone in the world who I feel a responsibility towards.

All my scans came back clear of anything serious so that's the good news.

They have identified some kind of damage or inflammation to the piriformis muscle located in my right buttock. This could be what is making me limp and almost certainly what is causing the pain.

I've been given some simple exercises to do and have been recommended for physiotherapy. If the therapy doesn't work then I will get nerve blocking injections.

Glad to hear this, hopefully the exercise and therapy will work.

Thank you Misslizard. He said that it will probably take a while but it's great news all the same.
