other people laughed at me when i said that. the conversation goes like this:

them: what about your family?
me: the other half is for my family.
them: why don't you give all your money to your family?
me: because there are people who need the money more than my family. my family is already rich. there are poor people out there who could use the money.
them: but you don't know those poor people. why do you care about them so much? if you dont want to give your money to my family, you might as well give it to us. at least you know us.

so, is this the norm these days? people who want to donate to strangers get laughed at?

I work on the principle that my family can have my posessions, charities can have my money.

I already know where my money will go should I snuff it suddenly, to the eye clinics at the two hospitals which have saved my sight.

If I were to die soon, I'd donate my money to my clubhouse. It's the people there who are willing to listen to my problems and help me out. They also accept me the way that I am. My parents tell me that my problems are all in my head, and they always get on me to do something that I'm not quite ready to do...go on a diet. The staff and members at my club are quite accepting. My family is quite jugemental.

I'm going to make bloody well sure that I'd have thousands of dollars to donate to my "Haven" if I were to die at an early age.

all my workman's insurance and 401K and all that stuff goes to Citizens Allied against Terminating Strays or C.A.T.S where I got my kitty. My kitty goes back there too.

now if I can just get some sort of policy that gets me cremated, I am all done with it.

When I die, I'm giving the 10 people that mattered most to me 5% of my money. The rest is getting destroyed.

The KFoundation burn a Million Quid

On 23 August 1994, the K Foundation (Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty) burnt one million pounds sterling in cash on the Scottish island of Jura. This money represented the bulk of the K Foundation's funds, earned by Drummond and Cauty as The KLF, one of the United Kingdom's most successful pop groups of the early 1990s. The duo have never fully explained their motivations for the burning.

The incineration was recorded on a Hi-8 video camera by K Foundation collaborator Gimpo. In August 1995, the film—Watch the K Foundation Burn a Million Quid[1]—was toured around the British Isles, with Drummond and Cauty engaging each audience in debate about the burning and its meaning. In November 1995, the duo pledged to dissolve the K Foundation and to refrain from public discussion of the burning for a period of 23 years.

A book—K Foundation Burn A Million Quid, edited and compiled by collaborator Chris Brook —was published by ellipsis Books in 1997, compiling stills from the film, accounts of events and viewer reactions. The book also contains an image of a single house brick that was manufactured from the fire's ashes.

When I die, I will make sure that anyone I want to leave money to will get some. If you do plan on giving to charity, research your beneficiaries well.

My future estate will probably end up going towards eliminating the NT scourge on our planet once and for all.

What's the going price for having a James Bond/Cold War style super secret weapon built in your name as your memorial?

Granted, I won't be able to experience it, but I will be remembered as an infamous character in history for actions performed from beyond the grave. I mean, how many men in history have had the honor of causing massive shifts in the course of mankind AFTER they're dead?

Oh wait, we have to remember the zombies...

Like Stalin? Or Hitler? Or Polpot? All very memorable...
