I'm in the UK and I have a friend who I don't have any friends in common with, you know that aspie thing where we meet online, so I've got no one to ask about her. Maybe I can ask in some of the local cafes we went to or the police station if anyone has heard from her. Most of our interactions were virtual though.

She's not answering her phone. Landline or mobile. I went to her house. Her car isn't even there.

I don't know what to do know. She's just disappeared. Best case scenario is that she's in hospital and getting care, but surely her car would be at the house.

You don't think she's on vacation?

I'm sorry  That's a truly awful experience, whatever the reason. I hope she's okay.

How long has she been absent?

I hope she's alright.

Please update when you know more.

It's been 3 weeks since she's spoken to me and 2 weeks since she's been active online. I thought maybe she just wanted some space. She wasn't in a good place. You know how sometimes you just can't talk. She got my messages, the receipt shows as seen. But last week's message wasn't seen. And the status says it's been 2 weeks since it was active.

I'm not the only person trying to contact her. When I phoned her landline it says that the inbox is full.

Normally when she goes away she tells me and sends me photos. She's not one for travelling outside of the country.

Does she live alone? Perhaps you can knock on her door or a neighbor's door and inquire. Just tell them you're a concerned friend.

I did contemplate asking neighbours, but when I was staring at a wall of intercom buttons I chickened out. I hung around for a bit, but there was no one around. It's a street full of tall blocks of apartments.
