I have no one to talk to about my problems

Especially ones with my S/O. I can't talk to my family, as I don't want to make anyone hostile and jeopardize future harmony, I can't talk here either.

I don't have a close friendship with anyone here, certainly not for a heart-to-heart. I'm one of those members who just lurks here without engaging much on a personal level.

I find that writing in a journal helps me sort through and process events. And since it is private I can vent and rant until I feel better, or sometimes work out issues and figure out solutions.

It can't give feedback, but it at least creates a safe space for you to be 100% yourself.

Therapists are sworn to client confidentiality, but due to expense and availability this may not be a viable option.

In UK we have charities such as Samaritans and https://www.thecalmzone.net/ (men are the main focus at calm) for support if you need to talk to someone. Samaritans have email as an option too

Is there anything similar where you're at?

Of course it's a lonely journey. And maybe all life (until death). I spend my life without family and friends, only dogs.

Sometimes it's unbearable to watch and hear other people discussing their griefs, worries and problems with each other.
I always ask myself: "Why I don't get this chance, too?" (I've tried often enough, but a stranger just doesn't get that way treated.)

But since I'm a member of Wrong Planet it's getting more better. I write about my thoughts and feelings. Sometimes for myself in a journal and sometimes I share it here. And I get replies, advice and helpful words of understanding. That's much more then I had in my past.
