I'm having a bad time generally.
Work really s***s at the moment. The project I'm working on is really badly mismanaged, there is miscommunication, backstabbing and skullduggery, and it never seems to end. I am really stressed out, and even small noises are driving me insane. I had spent the beginning of the week working around industrial machinary, which necessitated me taking a day and a half off with a thumping migraine, unable to keep food down.

I have only shared my dx with a couple of people - my husband and a good friend. I would like to confide in others, if only I could be guaranteed support. I doubt that happening. I know I'm feeling morose, but I think I'd get more support if I told them I had leprosy.

I feel so alone.

I sympathise with you and hope you feel better soon.
I get really upset sometimes about how work is going, how competent people are and take on more and more of the project because I am obsessed with it being done right and tear myself up about the bits I can't control.
Eventually it gets too much and I have to take a step back and put things in perspective -
that work is not my life,
if something that is not my direct responsibility gets f*ed up by someone else then it is not my worry
and I try to take more note of the little things in the world (a caterpillar on a leaf on the way to work etc) so I can chill out a bit.
at work I wear my mp3 and play it really loud to block out everyone else and just focus on what I need to do

Well, it seems like that for me now too... a bad time in general
Nothings really all that easy... Making friends with people, being their friend...and so on... Haven't had a steady girlfriend in like... 4 years.... I mostly feel like a fly on the wall, or lifes spectator. and my health isn't so good, so well no one to care really, no one to listen to how lonely I am, how mad I am that people won't listen to be there like I have this "tv/flim" fantasy how friends are supposed to care and give you surprize parties, when my "Friends" aren't there for me when i need them.

Well with your sharing, I can only share with my therpist... that's once a week... no one I can tell how cheated I feel in life, the whole "nice guys finish last" thing. take solace in that you have your hubby and that friend... because I have a my painting, and a therpist, my best friends a Dog, and all he does is listen. I feel like a nomad leper. when people get to see what I am, they keep their distance... but this song helps me on lonely days.

Feeling better.
Went to an oil painting art class at the local community college which was fun, but a bit to absorb and get profficient with in one day. But it was fun, and hubby says it looks pretty good.
