unsure if I'll be able to master this new training at work
Currently I'm being trained to handle "end of the week" paperwork. It's a lot....
After a month or so I finally feel as though I'm beginning to grasp some of it. Some. I have the first half mostly down I think.
What's frustrating is I learned today that the person training me (who is the one who normally does all this paperwork) is going on vacation in just a few weeks. So I'll be all on my own handling this while they're gone. Yippee.... I mean, I realize that's the purpose of me learning it, so I can take over when they are not here. But it feels too soon for how much I'm struggling currently.
It's also just frustrating and overwhelming trying to get all this done and be blamed when I make mistakes. I'm still learning, y'know? I have training wheels right now for a got damn reason??
Also got stuck this morning and the supervisor had to leave to tend the service desk. She got irritated when she got back because I hadn't done anything.....
I was stuck on one step and didn't recognize that I could do the rest of the work while she was out.
Oh, and also since I finished late and I made my cab driver wait 10 extra minutes, the cab company wouldn't let me use my flat rate..... oi vey. ![]()
