I seem to feel like some of my threads fall on deaf ears and feel like I should just shut up unless I've got something positive to talk about.

Sometimes I have no valuable advice or contribution to give.
It doesn't mean I don't read and ponder your issues.
I am deaf btw. :)

I wouldnt give up posting if it's helping you work through your feelings about things.
They say 50% of the solution is writing down the problem, or something like that.
