It's a VA service (veterans only)

It was recommended that I go there by a VA doctor after I passed out and broke my finger having what I can only assume, is an anxiety attack!

I'd like to talk with anyone here that may of used there services, etc.

Anyone???

it's a social service offered at VA medical facilities.

I tried to get a shrink apt. like 10 years ago, and was told it would take 4 months to get one! I went private and found a Dr. that used a sliding scale, etc....

they say it's gotten better and that walk ins are accepted (during normal bus. hours!) and that they make appts. much quicker.

check out www.va.gov to see if there's a hospital in your area!
