If it did, I don't remember.
Geeze, I can't believe that was just 4 days ago!
But for some reason, I omitted the gigantic party that was thrown at SHFL on the previous Saturday (the 18th)...that was the Leo party....which happens every year, conspicuously close, if not on my actual birthday...Tons of bands and people and i make special limited edition Leo t-shirts every year and all the Leos get one..(and lots of non-leos too)...and....Leo's get in free and theres cake and prizes and and vegetarian chili...and potluck....so that was my real birthday party...and I actually had fun then (though i was sorta working..and I would probably not have had as much fun if I wasn't working)...Whenever I get extroverted (happy in social setting), I start giving random things away to people....and i was doing that.
I should have said that was that and not even bothered to do anything on my acutal birthday..
The point of the Leo party is to provide an alternative to a potentially crappy birthday experience
and lots of people seemed like they had a good time.
Today, in somewhat stark contrast, we went to the Outback steakhouse for Flakey's sister's birthday.
We were only there for an hour, and I didn't eat very much, but by the time we were almost ready to leave, I wound up feeling dizzy and tired and sick....I am as stiff as a board around Flakey's family..part of it was nerves..part of it was the food and being confined in a chair surrounded by a bunch of people who think I am strange....with a baby screeching...and smalltalk...etc..etc....i went into this state between sickness and comatose.
I thing I might even underestimate the level of anxiety I experience...I didn't feel outwardly anxious...but in the end my heart was beating rapidly and I was very dizzy....took me a bit to recover.
I think I am allergic to chain resturaunts.
