I had a relatively happy life when I was a kid. I was stress free. Been really successful as a student until last years of high school. My social skills was not great. Slowly got out of society and became more withdrawn. Thats what led me to become more depressed. Im struggling to break this and get what I want in life.

Are you able to seek the help of a professional therapist? Often they are not so good with autism, but with depression many therapists have a lot of experience. You would still have to find the one who is right for you, though.

Unfortunately, the social connection aspect that many on the autistic spectrum struggle with is a key piece for success in personal and professional areas. Social deficits may present earlier or later but it's definitely a hurdle. It's a disability in some areas no matter our intelligence or ability to adapt.
