How can I stop feeling as though time is ''running out'' ?

Sometimes I feel the reason why I feel as though time is ''running out'' is because I seem to feel the 30s are the last and only time left to think about starting a family because 10 years from now it will out the question. I seem to feel that at 20 or 25, people have less pressure and more time to think about knowing they could still do it in the 30s. I am still feeling unready for wanting children when it feels as though by now, I ''should'' be at this point but I'm not in a relationship.

I do hear from other people that men and women are doing things later now than other generations did so as to reassure me that I am not alone. But I do seem to feel as though people even of my generation are still tying the knot and so on in their late 20s/early 30s in almost the same way as my parents generation did and seeing myself going and living past those times makes me feel there is something ''wrong'' with me even though I may know what it is.

Use that feeling to motivate yourself instead of just being paralyzed by dread.

What does it matter if time is running out if you'd just waste your time anyways?

Do you actually want to have kids or do you just feel like you're supposed to? Not everyone has kids or wants to.

I feel like I'm "supposed" to just because I'm over 30 and a man not a woman. I don't know if everyone I knew from school or college days has kids, got married etc but it just feels like I'm seeing it more.

I understand for women it's different and there is a certain amount of time they can have children but I don't know why men will still have kids when they are even perhaps very young themselves even though I hear stories of older male celebrities like Robert de niro, Rod Stewart and so on have kids in their 60s and 70s. The thing is I am just as guilty of thinking when de niro had his last at 79, that is far too old to have a child. The reason why sometimes I feel anxious about this issue is because I see my peers having gone through their 20s and now into their 30s and having kids and gone through the same time as them but with no experience of a relationship and it leaves me feeling it's "abnormal" to have had no experience during that period of life.
