I Thought Creative Writing Was Gonna Be Fun But All It Is Is Writing Useless Poems And My Condsecending Teacher Making Us Do COLOURED ILLUSTRATIONS For These POEMS I DON'T CARE ABOUT!!

School can be a bit restrictive and it's hard to be truly creative in an environment where the teacher decides on the topics rather than let the class choose

After hours you can use to write what you really want to and you could even showcase samples of it on the art and writing forum!

I completely understand your frustration, Dandy. When I was in school I had poetry completely ruined for me by a similar teacher and unit. I still hate it, twenty years later. I really hope that next unit will be more exciting for you. And that it doesn't color your view of poetry as an art like it did for me.

Well make a short story that rhymes

Like: once upon a time
I found a dime and when I looked at the time I heard a bell chime

And the sky turned pink
In a blink
Of an eye
In the sky I saw a fly-
Ing saucer go by
