My dad was going to fine me 50 dollars for having soft drink

Hi yall,
I am bummed out and aggravated because Dad was going to take 50 dollars from my Social Security benefits for having extra soft drink. I just think I should be able to choose my own diet. Its just so upsetting. I wish I did not have to live with my parents anymore. I only make about 1,100 dollars per month so 50 dollars is big money for me. Also we are church of Christ and the Bible says extortionists go to Hell so I dont see why Dad thinks its okay to extort and steal from me. Ugh....Crying....

I'm so sorry to hear that, TexasMoneyMan.

That's awful of your father. You're an adult and therefore you should absolutely be able to choose your own diet.

I hope things get better for you :heart:

Thanks Rhapsody. I will most likely be able to afford to move out after my parents die which could be decades from now.
