I know some of us are lonely. Feeling invisible is part of feeling lonely.
I feel like I'm invisible in the world. Not on anybody's radar.
It's a depressing feeling.

Invisible??? Is that possible for someone with AS? I am always at the center of something each and everyday. They way I walk, talk and act make me different from nearly everyone around me (not in a bad way most of the time) this is what attracts people to me as they are interested in me. Maybe I am missing the point here?

I wish I was invisible!

Then I could come & go when I want & no-one would think I was weird for not talking to them because they wouldn't know I was even there.

Iam visible when I would like to be invisible,
but generally, yes, Iam totally the invisible man.
One thing I hate about pubs and clubs is, I can never get served, even though Iam tall Iam completely invisible.
It must have wound up my friends on the occassions when I would say to them "come on, where going somewhere else" because they wouldnt serve me and I would just storm out the pub.

Iam also invisible to attractive women, unless they have noticed Ive been staring at them in which case the sneer at me like Iam something on thier shoe.
Unless they are Polish girls of course, in which case they burst into beautifull radiant smiles like they are really pleased I like to look at them, I think I will move to Poland, or are they just after my money?

I've had experiences like that in bars too and once asked a barmaid if I was invisible. Maybe I wasn't really there and was astral travelling.....
