I confess that the elderly are not as innocent nor as safe as I thought them to be.
Tonight, as I stood with my shopping on a bench in the store(asda/walmart) an old man started asking where he could find a restaurant, and then he suddenly said he couldn't afford it and suggested I take him, naming a road near to where I live... he then asked if I was married and asked why an attractive girl like me isn't married. i said I prefer to be in my own company. To which he said he could keep me company tonight. (Alarm bells started ringing here)

Then he said he bet I was a good cook, to which I mumbled that I can't cook at all except pasta and then he said I could cook him dinner tonight. Then he beckoned me to come closer so he could whisper something to me.

At that point, I sort of sussed what he was doing and froze for a moment, stuttered that I couldn't and walked out the store very quickly, resenting the male of the species even more than I already do... already have trust issues with men, thinking most keep their brains in their balls, and this incident kind of proved to me that they don't get better with age.

I always got on with the elderly and found them nice to talk to, but this has certainly put me off. I thought he was just being friendly etc, and was an innocent old man. How wrong I was. :(

I'm sorry you had that experience. Some people are pigs, and no, age doesn't change that. I do think the vast majority of guys are not so bad, including the elderly. Some people have just had some really bad experiences, so things look worse. Trust is a precarious thing for me too, so I can understand how something like this can be a huge setback. Don't let one idiot alter your viewpoint too drastically though.

I was just shocked. I mean, I find it hard enough when someone starts talking to me, but when he got all funny on me, I had no idea what to do. All I could do was stare at him mutely then quickly disappear. Prolly got mold it has prolly been so long for the poor old sod...seriously, he was old enough to be my grandfather. What was he thinking? Can these people sniff out someone who is a little naive or something ?

I was at work once, and this woman walked up to me. "Do you work here" So I thought she was asking about whether the shop was hiring. Suddenly I noticed she was getting uncomfortably close. I gave a bunny hop backwards just as she grabbed for my naughty bits. "You want to have a good time" She was a prosty!! And she was propositioning me in front of a government office!! And she was quite homely!! I had no idea what she was going on about. Not a clue as to her being a hooker.

I'm disgusted to be a man sometimes.

I got home from college today so I could be greeted by a commercial for a show called MANswers.

"Who has the world's biggest boobs?" I honestly don't understand why anybody cares.

I never did fit into what the stereotypical man is supposed to be anyway, I suppose.

I just hope you keep in mind that not all of us men are like that.

Wait a minute, where were you shopping at again? I'm not saying all male shoppers at Wally World are pervs, just all the ones at my Wally World.

Asda, which is owned by Walmart, but is a UK store, and nope, most people there are just your everyday student, houswife etc shoppers (Although it seems to be an AS magnet too since I have met a few there).

Prof Pretorius, That is funny and made me laugh out loud.
I think in a reverse situation, I would have screamed... very loudly, but obviously, men don't do it nearly so well

Maybe the poor guy was just lonely. Not all guys brains are in their balls. There are just as many females who are horny as hell as there are guys.. Just to clear some things up here.
Im not afraid to admit it, sure, I get horny sometimes. Everyone who knows me knows that :P Go ahead and ask them
But its not a concern when it comes to trying to find a significant other, I know you know what its like to be lonely.. I dont think it would be fair for someone to call you a pervert just because you went out to try to find a mate. Dont take what I said the wrong way.. Just trying to make a point.

"Lonely" is one way to put it...

No, not all guys are like that. This one appears to be.

Let me read it over again, more than likely I missed something. :?

-edit-- Ok, I read it over again, and once again failed to see how he was being perverted in any way. I totally do understand how she took it that way though. I mean, I have a hard time trusting women sometimes too, because theyve already crushed my heart in every way possible.. But I still wont give up. I cant call every situation when a female is attracted to me a case of perversion where all she wants is my nuts and nothing more, just because she thinks Im attractive or whatever. Its just not realistic.

Believe me, he was not just lonely.
It was quite obvious what the implication of his words were.
You must be more naive than I am if you think he was just 'lonely' lol.
Lonely men talk, they do not invite themselves out to dinner with you, in your own home, and then suggest you lean in close to them so they can whisper something in your ear. Plus he said some other things I didn't fully catch but which were definitely not innocent in nature.

So don't assume to know the situation.
And also... I have nowhere in my posts used the word 'pervert' or referred to that, so I have no idea where you got that from ?

I only assumed what I did based on the description you gave, of course I wont know every detail.
I mean, its not hard to tell if someones making sexual advances towards you once you think about everything that happened carefully. Usually I realize it within the next day or so lol, but thats besides the point..
I guess its just another one of those instances where I would have to be there to understand, but I think I get it now.

He just a standard dirty old man, NT I'm sure. He doesn't have that much time left so he's less afraid of being lewd.

Was he the greeter? You said he was old and it was a walmart.

If I were you I would have pushed him down to see if he cried out "Ah! my hip!" in pain, then I would laugh at him. He's old, you probably could have taken him in a fight.
