Generally, my favorite part of the day is sleeping, because I dream profusely.

However, (and it's happened for a while, but it's getting more frequent), I find myself doing horrendously violent, cruel and reprehensible things in my dreams, and it's starting to worry me...

Is it something I should be concerned about?

Might be a case of repressed anger, I get dreams like that at times. Just last night, I dreamed I was performing a ceremony or something in a warehouse, not knowing what it was for. The people there started to panic watching me do it and eventually I realized I was performing something like a summoning ritual, when they became hostile towards me.

Once I dreamed I became possessed by some kind of spirit and killed a friend of mine and his girlfriend. I dream very few nightmares, but when I do, possession/summoning and me committing violence are common themes.

Oh, right.

I'm just worried that all this black anger might spill out and turn me into Seung-Hui Cho, y'know?

And I don't want to do that sort of thing. It's not very nice.

Buy a boxing bag and vent your feelings on it.

I had a dream every night for two weeks that I was a serial killer. The things I did in my dreams are to brutal to post here.
I thought that I was going to turn into a serial killer but I didn't...(phew).

It's your subconsious mind...it thinks up crazy things. Thats completely normal.
However, if you do EVER start to act out your dreams then do talk to someone about it.

The only time when I have horrible violent dreams is when Im the one getting hurt in them. Usually I end up dying in the end, for example the one I had very recently. The beginning was actually really interesting with profound philosophy, but naturally I forgot exactly what the significant parts of the meaning was. Anyway, in the end I was shot in the head twice by a police officer who was chasing me for some reason. I do remember in my dream that I didnt even know what I did wrong though. Im not going to go too deep into the details cause it would probably sound boring so Ill stick to the point. Eventually when I was running, I began to lose balance, until I had none at all and pretty much fainted, falling to the ground. Then he runs up to me, stands above me, points his handgun at my head, and shoots three times.. It was strange cause I was still alive after he did it, so I figured he shot around my head just to scare me. He shot once to the left, then above my head (which apparently missed), and once to the right, it all happened very fast. Then I said something about myself to him (I forgot what it was), then asked a question. I dont remember what it was or all of his responce, but I remember at the end he said "because your a peaceful one", and walked off. I looked up and noticed I wasnt outside anymore, I mean, I was in the same environment but suddenly there was a ceiling above me. I stood up and felt my head, and I felt these two damp indents on my forehead, where he had shot me. I couldnt feel any pain though but I pretty much felt numb all over. I tried walking to the woods in front of me but I wasnt able to get very far at all, I saw these walls appear (reverse fade) only a few rows of trees behind the woodline and suddenly there was nothing, I must have died standing up, then fallen to the ground. Ok, to go back a little, I remember running through a farm, some old woman saw me and ran into the farm house in fear, then when I was shot there was this old man there in the doorway of a shed, just staring, watching it happen. Probably no significance there.. Also I had a gun on me but I dont know why.

I have so many dreams where I'm being chased by people who want to kill me! Nazis at the concentration camps, mad psycho killers... I dreamed where I fought with improvised weapons against one of the killers, once I had to slaughter my way out of a concentration camp, etc.

I like to dream, even if bad things happen to me, it's better than being awake.
